Part 1 of 5.

As business people we need to know why some of our prayers, prophetic words and dreams have not been fulfilled and are delayed.

The first explanation is “are we in known sin?” This may seem the most simple and obvious. However, sin is likened in the Bible to leaven. Leaven cannot be seen but has an affect of “puffing up” or causing the bread to rise -seemingly on it’s own. That is what sin does for us; it puffs us up or causes us to rise in pride. What does pride do to us? It blinds us (like the Apostle Paul on the road to Damascus) and causes destruction; Scripture says that pride comes before a fall, Prov. 16:18.

Coming over to us, he [Agabus] took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘In this way the Jews of Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’ ” When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. – Acts 21:11-12

In my own personal spiritual pilgrimage, God has allowed me to come into relationship with those in the Body of Christ who are called to a greater level of intercessory prayer. God calls each of us to be intercessory prayer warriors, but there are individuals in the Body of Christ who are called to be frontline warriors and who are more skilled in the area of intercession. These individuals often can have a gift of prophecy as part of their intercessory anointing. Such appears to be the case of Agabus in the Book of Acts.

Dear Friend of WISE Ministries:

In a prophetic picture I saw a man (he looked like the Captain of a ship) being forced to walk the plank to his certain death. Death would come through drowning or being eaten by predators such as sharks. The ‘”pirates” (the enemy) had taken control of his ship (business). The plank was the overarching policies that he was being required to “walk-out” or on. The plank of the policies such as health care bill and other taxing issues such as “cap and trade” being proposed were going to cause his business to fail at worst or he would lose control at best. Then, as the captain was just at the end of the plank about to fall in the water, the Lord came and supernaturally extended the plank. Each time the captain would walk to the end of a new extension, the plank grew. God was upholding him and what was meant for his destruction God turned into his preservation. The plank had now become a bridge and as the captain kept walking he was farther and farther from the enemy’s influence! The vision ended.

We live in an exciting time!  God is preparing to pour out the greatest move of the Spirit of all time.  It is the Second Reformation, and in preparation, God is restoring the Church to His original plan!  God is re-forming His church to become a New Wineskin!

The sad truth is, for many, church today doesn’t seem to “work.”  We have pastors who work long, hard hours.   We have saints that love the Lord.  But we don’t see the kind of results they saw in the New Testament.  The lost are not being reached.  Nations are not being changed.

Why is it that “church” today doesn’t work the way it did in the New Testament?  The answer, I believe, is that we haven’t followed the directions!

1 Cor. 12:28 establishes an order for the church.  “God has appointed FIRST apostles, SECOND prophets, THIRD teachers, THEN come miracles .healing .helps, etc.
God says, for the church to function as He intended, you start with the APOSTLE.  The apostle has the anointing to make “church” work!  For church to operate the way God intended, you must be correctly related to, or “aligned with,” an apostle!  When you align with an apostle, apostolic anointing flows into everything you do!

An apostle is like a faucet!  God’s anointing for church flows through the apostle!  No matter how hard you try, or how good your methods, if your cup is not under the faucet, church will not work!

But if you align yourself with a true apostle, apostolic anointing begins to flow!   The LIFE of God fills His church!  The key to a church that functions in New Testament power is apostolic ALIGNMENT!

What do we mean by alignment?
To align with an apostle means you get in a committed relationship with that apostle.  It’s not a hierarchy where the apostle is a dictator who orders you around.  But it is a committed relationship.  It’s a covenant relationship.  Chuck Pierce is my apostle.  I’m in covenant with him.

Your apostle is one you go to for counsel.  He’s the one you trust for direction.   You commit yourself to your apostle like David’s mighty men committed to David.

Date Revealed: 3:05pm, Sep 11, 2009

We are not entering a peaceful season. This season is supernatural! God’s people must leave “religion” and their natural way of battle and enter this supernatural season with sharpened weapons. This is a season of breaking new ground. When you look at the symbol for AYIN, you can see the necessary action for breakthrough. You must extend your hand through the darkness and into the heavenlies. At that point, the Lord will give you strength by touching you with His HAND. He will release the Sword of Revelation that will connect with you to do war. This will be the battle of the EYES. You will battle with MAMMON in the next years. You will battle dark watchers and “dark pools”. This will be a season where we battle with occult structures that are attempting to rule the earth.

Anytime we bring God more into a business, the more He can transform the people in that business which is His focus because he cares very much for the people and their relationship with Him. When we allow God’s Holy Spirit to transform a company He brings to the surface areas He wants to improve in the lives of the owners, their family, employees and clients. He brings this positive change so he can bring lasting freedom to the people, their relationships with each other and with Him and ultimately bless the business. This transformation brings visible changes in the spiritual and the natural atmosphere of the people and the business. As we surrender to the Lord any concerns about causing commotion and we bring WISE prayer into the business, we allow the Holy Spirit to bring forth great change and victory.

In Acts 16:16-40 when Paul and Silas were in the city of Philippi and preached about Jesus and against divination, they were put in jail. When in jail they prayed and sang hymns of praise to God while the other prisoners listened to them. I believe they were praying for the prisoners, the jailers, the city, the leaders, the region, etc to receive breakthrough and not just for themselves to be freed. Their prayers created quite a commotion, but for great purposes in God.

Dear Businessperson,

As you have been reading on the edge of your seat the daily, almost hourly headlines, about the 500-900 point stock market swings, the governments of not just the USA but of other nations injecting hundreds of billions of dollars into banks, governments taking ownership positions in banks, governments bailing out century-old institutions; what do we make of all of this?  These and other questions are being posed in the minds of multitudes.  The Scripture tells us that there are multitudes in the valley of decision – Joel 3:14.  If there ever was a need for prophetic guidance in the marketplace, if there ever was a need for prayer shields to be placed around your life and the lives of your loved-ones – it is now!   The times are NOT going to get easier, yes there will be times where there does not seem to be as much going on that is terrifying in the world but there will also be times when it seems like things are coming loose at the seams.
